On Saturday, June 17, 2017, BAPS Auto Paints & Supply, headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, had the honor of sponsoring a night of racing at Lincoln Speedway, located in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania.

When gates opened at 5:30 PM, BAPS was ready to greet ticket holders, each child receiving a small gift.  Throughout the night, BAPS Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Paul Hill, along with Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Whitney Wagner, sold raffle tickets for a signed Brent Marks helmet as well as two wings.  Proceeds from raffle ticket sales benefited their 2017 Charity, America’s Vet Dogs, an organization that provides therapy and service dogs to veterans and current military members.

Lucas Wolfe placed first after a great 410 feature, winning the $1,000 bonus and prize winning trophy BAPS offered that night.  Raffle tickets were pulled at the trophy presentation, the first prize winner selecting the Brent Marks helmet, and the second prize winner taking home one of the wings.

BAPS driver and Account Manager Chris Frank finished 11th in the 358 feature, where Chris Arnold came in for a first place finish, scoring the BAPS bonus of $300 and the first place trophy.  The last raffle was pulled at the trophy presentation, the final wing awarded to a dedicated young fan.

Dean Berkheimer, owner of BAPS Auto Paints & Supply, was thrilled to share in the experience of the races once again.  An avid fan, Berkheimer says the race was “awesome–a great race.”  BAPS is passionate about supporting the racing community and enjoys sponsoring this event each year.
